Since January 1, 2025, the Sustainability Reporting Standards (SRS) require entities not considered to be in the public interest to disclose information related to sustainability. This includes the presentation of 30 Core Sustainability Indicators (CSIs) that must be reported in a comparative manner.

Do you know the SRS?

The SRS are a set of guidelines that seek to integrate sustainability into the long-term business strategy. Their objective is for organizations to identify risks and opportunities in Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG), managing these aspects effectively.

Are you ready for your presentation?

The preparation and disclosure of the SRSs represent significant challenges, especially for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs). Among the main challenges are:

  • Recognition of sustainability: Integrating sustainability as an essential component in the business strategy.
  • Identification of ESG risks and opportunities: Evaluate how ESG factors can influence the company’s operation and results.
  • ESG risk management: Implement policies and procedures to mitigate ESG-related risks and their impact on financial statements.
  • Associated costs: Consider the expenses related to the collection, processing, reporting, monitoring and verification of sustainability data.

In addition, it is crucial to ensure the traceability of the data used in the calculations or statements of each IBSO, allowing verification of its source documentation and guaranteeing a quality similar to that used in the preparation of the financial statements.
